No matter where you are on your business journey, the right tool can be a total life-saver.
Below you can find my absolute favourite resources for helping me to:
- Save tons of time, energy, and stress
- Automate and batch time-consuming business activities
- Access a team full of experts about stuff I have zero knowledge of and don’t wanna learn
I will never, ever list something here that I haven’t used – and paid for – myself.
I’ve built my own business from the ground up using these tools, and I only provide honest recommendations for what’s actually been useful and valuable for me.

My #1 Essential Tool: ConvertKit
Email marketing is, has been, and always will be the most essential part of my business. I can live without everything else (even my website) but please don’t ever take away my ConvertKit account!
ConvertKit is my personal go-to for a few reasons: their customer support is great, they have tons of free resources to help you learn, and it’s really easy to use. It’s never too early to start building your list, so sign up for free RIGHT NOW.
Making Websites Simple: Siteground
I’ve had my fair share of *terrible* experience with web hosting providers – my website was constantly offline and I dealt with extremely unhelpful customer support advisors – but I finally found my saving grace in Siteground!
I’m no expert when it comes to website building, so I needed a company with an outstanding customer service team who could help me with anything I needed (and explain it to me in simple terms). Siteground wins on all counts. Highly, highly recommend.
Creating Awesome Images: Canva
Canva is a magical tool I use on a daily basis to create basically every image, document, or PDF I make (including the ones on this page). You don’t need to know anything about graphic design; their smart templates make it super easy for you to cusom-design anything you need.
Their free version is amazing and for a while, it was enough for me. But once I started to get more serious about my business and needed to be able to make more fancy-looking graphics, I signed up to the Pro version and I haven’t looked back since!
